It's been a very long day in that way that some days can be very long.
JM's been sick for over a month and a half and having to cover her is starting to wear thin. It's not that I mind taking up the slack when she's sick, it's just that it's been going on for a long time and I'm ready for nap now. She phoned the doctor again today (this makes contact #4 with the doctor) and was prescribed another round of antibiotics and another course of prednisone. Fun stuff that - it makes her really hyper.
(Hyper's not necessarily a bad thing. She'll clean the house and take care of
Ethan and
Ryan until she crashes. -
Sarah)
I'm not sure she will. She's been so tired lately that it might just get her to feeling sick but awake instead of active. It sucks that her job is being a pain in the ass and no one is covering her at work. Instead they've just gotten her a week's extension on the due date for the grant she's supposed to get renewed. Frankly, I think this job is part of the reason she's getting sick so much. I'm not saying it's all in her head, but I think her not wanting to be at work makes her more prone to getting sick and staying sick.
No matter why though, I'm still working double-time and I'm starting to feel really burnt out.
