Just found out I'm admitted inot the preliminary class required for the poetry honors thesis! YES!
Was so scared that I wouldn't get in because I didn't take the required class for the thesis, but I bugged the head of the poetry department for like two weeks before I came home, and I worked on poetry all summer and now there's a good chance that I will be able to write an honors thesis in the winter.
I love the English dept, but I hate it at the same time because Everyone else knew like....last year if they would be able to write a thesis or not, but the English department makes you jump through all of these bullshit hoops to write one. Whatever. I'm writing one.
