I have had minor migraines in the past but the last two weeks I have had an almost continual headache. Nothing I was taking got rid of it. I tried several different combos of OTC meds but the most it did was take the edge off of it.
Here is where the question comes in ... Could my headaches be caused by my meds? I just started Trazodone 50mg on the 10th this month and reading the side affects it mentions headaches but these headaches come with the dizziness, nausea and light sensitivity of migraines. I ended up at the Dr's yesterday and they gave me a shot and some oxygen and let me lay in the dark for a bit but it wasn't till I got home and slept that it really went away.
I wonder if I should just go ahead and stop taking the Trazodone and see if that stops the migraines. I think I will go ahead and wait till my lab results come in later in the week and go from there. Any way ... If there are any other people suffering from med induced migraines please let me know how you cope with them. Thanks ... TTFN
