Pestilence shook the sleep from his brain and sat up in bed. His face was covered in the look that every man's face has when his pregnant wife is screaming at him. Its like 'dear-in-a-headlight' mixed with 'please don't hurt me, honey,' and 'oh Lord what have I don't to my poor love?" all rolled into one expression.
He had no idea about Ellie's story, so his mind was not on any retribution- except for the retribution Uriel might meet out against him in return for knocking her up in the first place. But with love and care he finally managed to pull Uriel into her arms for a brief embrace.
"It's alright, love. Let me just get a pair of pants on and we'll go down to the infirmiry." Which he did, then wrapped a robe around Uriel. He figured that the baby would still take a little time to come since Uriel's water hadn't broken yet, but just as he was thinking that, he noticed the strained look in her face. There was no way she was going to make it down to the infirmiry on her own legs.
"Now, love, tell me if this hurts you," he said as he attempted to pick her up and carry her.
What do you think, can we godmod Raph as she's not around?bipolar_urielJune 19 2006, 06:48:41 UTC
Uriel found herself pulled into Pestilence's arms. This, while comforting, didn't help the fact that she was in pain. Another contraction hit, and never in her existence had she been so close to actually swearing.
She watched Pestilence getting himself in a pair of pants, then allowed him to wrap a robe around her. However, the mere thought of going to the infirmary made her shudder. How on Earth could she walk when she was in so much pain?
Fortunately, though, Pestilence picked her up. She didn't even think about protesting, instead wrapping her arms around the horseman's neck, gritting her teeth at another contraction. It hurt.
She had no conscious recollection of how Pestilence had managed to get her out of the room and halfway down the corridor. She did remember, however, as she suddenly felt something wet trickling between her legs.
