Guns N' Roses
I initially got into GNR when I ran my pub. I'm sure I knew of them before then but that's when I really started to get into them because my jukebox was absolutely loaded with their stuff (well, the few albums they'd done anyway... And I inherited the pub, hence the pre-loaded jukebox). It also didn't help that I had a boyfriend who looked like Slash and I sported red hair and a volatile temper. We had little magnetic keys which let us use the tills. The name on mine, guess what it got changed to?

Travelling
For 10 years, my parents were missionaries so I got used to travelling a lot. We did a fair bit before that time as well and, if legend has it right, I would fall asleep when I was put into a moving car (not that I never had much problem falling asleep). Cue a habit of now falling asleep when travelling in anything with a rumbling engine. Always useful on long haul flights! But I love the whole process of travelling, from planning where you're going and how you're going to get there to the actual day when you're on the move. Then I get to the other end and want to do it all over again! I'm especially a fan of planes and trains!
Izzy Stradlin
Izzy Stradlin - Guitarist, singer, lover of petrol powered things. Also an ex-drug and alcohol addict. He became the inspiration for me cleaning up from my own drug and alcohol addictions. I collapsed at work and woke up a few days later in hospital. Someone had left an interview Izzy did, telling how he cleaned up of everything from heroin right through to tea and coffee.
Drugs - Yes.
Booze - Yes
Tea - Not a hope in hell! I like my tea!
Piercings
I think it fascinates me how people can put holes through such unconventional parts of their bodies. It's a bit like tattoos I suppose - fascinating to see the extremes people will go to. All of my piercings are fairly sedate (lobes, nose, scaffolding (industrial piercing to the Americans!) and tragus).
Writing
I love writing and have done ever since I was a kid. I've always lived in my own little world and it's where I prefer to be. My little world changes from day to day, depending on my mood. I love to see characters form in my head, which is especially fun with fan fiction because they never talk like they do in real life! for those who read my fan fiction David (Junior) speaks with a much higher voice than he does in real life, high to the point of being camp! But I love writing, even if I don't always feel like I've gotten it right. :)
Angst
Don't know why that's in there. Must be from when I was going through my angsty fic period!
Art
I've always loved art. Always loved going to art galleries and seeing interesting pieces. I love odd installation pieces. Even tough I didn't get to see it, this was one of my favourites.
