Anxiety-Inducing Dreams
I had a really weird dream Sunday night/Monday morning. I tried to post a run-through, but realized that it was just too weird and wonky to follow. So here are some hidhlights:
1) One of the NYU's buildings was combined with a hospital. It was also the hospital where Scrubs was set.
2) My old friend Teenie was hired to replace the character Elliot Reid.
3) Dr. Cox from Scrubs was an NYU professor, and knew a lot about Theatre of the Oppressed.
4) I was preparing to teach a course on TO, but got the start date wrong and was completely unprepared.
5) Dr. Cox was going to sit in on my course, and wouldn't shut the hell up.
6) My course was in an art classroom surrounded with floor-to-ceiling windows that faced the hall. Passersby were pressing their faces to the window to watch my failure.
And, a bonus dream:
I also had an odd dream about the PTO conference, and that I accidentally scheduled my departing flight to leave just as the conference was beginning, and that I spent all that time and money and missed the actual conference.
