Today? When I finish my conference call at 9:30 PM and pour myself a drink. Yarg.

15. What's the meaning behind your LJ username/name/nicknames you go by?
I was the member of an online forum that included an interactive fiction project. We called the people who were involved in the project "monkeys". It used to be tight-knit, but as it grew the integrity of the project began to wane. A few of the hard-core old-schoolers like myself were on a trip to NYC and we talked about possibly setting up another board for those of use dedicated to collaboration. It would be a new, more evolved group - not comprised of monkeys, but of mammals that have begun to walk on two feet. Bi-pedal mammals. So I created the forum, which had a good 9-month run. When I joined LJ my usual screen name was too long, but bipedalmammal fit perfectly. Voila.
