Halloween, eh?

i went to Mo's party as a lounge singer (pictures to follow). i wore one of my many tux shirts (an older one with a nice wide collar, large french cuffs and vertical thick pleats) and my classic blue velour tux jacket with the black lapels. killer. i also bought a new silk bow tie that i draped casually undone around my neck and sported a corded mic that i used to work the crowd and a tip jar that i placed on nearby table tops. i doctored my face up a bit using wonderful theatre techniques (strengthening my jaw line and extending my forehead spread, moving the highlight of my brow, etc) and added the finishing touches of thick low eyebrows and a thin, short mustache. i greased my hair up and shellacked it down.

i looked really good.

and everyone confirmed it. left and right i had people telling me that i'd make a really good guy. that i'd make a great looking man. and the girls loved my mustache (which i never would have thought looked good on me).

it was a boost. a good boost. and i felt awesome all night.
