Work went ok on Fri. I didn't really have to do anything. After work, Quimby wanted to watch Once Upon A Time in Mexico, so he tried to talk me into staying late so he could watch it. I made him go to the gas station to get me a Dr. Pepper, and we had JP bring us a pizza from Zappolie's. It was really good, custom made extra thick, extra cheese, pepperoni and grilled chicken, and it was at least 16" across. It was the "meal in a slice" pizza, no one could finish one piece. After everyone showed up and I went to thread up the movie, I remembered that we broke it down and got rid of it last week, so we decided to watch Matchstick Men instead. I thought it was a little too predictable, but it was a fun time cause we made sarcastic remarks about the movie. I got home at 3 in the morning and found out that my sister was having 2 of her friends spend the night. They were watching crappy animie and running around and laughing a lot so I couldn't sleep well, but the pain pills helped a little. When I finaly got to sleep I didn't wake up till 12 when Matt called. He was really bored so he came over to hang out. We watched one of the movies I rented the other day, The Texas Chainsaw Massacer, we wanted to see the original before the remake. The deaths were unique, but because it was made in the 70s there wasn't much gore. There was a lot of stuff in there that just didn't make any sense. After it was over we were both scratching our heads trying to figure out if it was scary, or at least intense, and whether or not we liked it. We never came to a conculsion but we did agree that in the remake it's going to be hella amazing when leather-face kills the guy in the wheelchair, it was pretty cool in the original, and with modern special effects, it should be chalk-full of blood and gore for that part. When is seeing a guy in a wheelchair getting stabbed throught the chest with a chainsaw not cool?! We went and got free roast beef sandwiches from Arbie's then went to MediaPlay to kill time. I got Mallrats, Recreum for a Dream, Polterguist, and an AFI cd; Matt got Halo for PC. We found out that a lot of games we had planned on buying had come out, but neither of us has the money or computer power to run any of them. Matt did show me a kick ass computer site that you can order custom pc's from for cheap. I built a top of the line machine for $1005, so I'm going to order one from there really soon. The whole company is just a couple stores spread across North GA, the main one is in Woodstock about 40 min away; when you order parts you can pick them up that day, custom built pc's are next day pick up. After we got back from MediaPlay, we watched Mallrats. It's still a great movie, then we went to the 12 for Underworld. Zand and D stayed for the movie. I showed Matt the booth, how to thread movies, and some of the equipment up there. I let Matt start up the projector, then we watched the movie. After that, Matt went home to sleep, D gave Zand some booze, Zand went home, and D and me messed with the forchen-teller machine for a min before we left. The machine didn't lie to me this time, it told me the cold hard truth and I hated that more than when the machine lied to me. I got home at 2 and made a sandwich cause I got to take some pills with food. Got online to post since I haven't do that for a short while, and now it's time to crash.
