I went into town with some people from the Drama Society at school. It was fun =] Very warm though. Those people are quite scary, but funny.
I also found out that I'm not alone in reading slash - it's a relief...there's nothing wrong with it, just that it can be perceived as being 'a bit lame'. Everyone had different OTPs though, one of the more disturbing-but-understandable ones being Doctor/Master. And then you got the 'enjoy the last ten minutes of your life' - cue Rachel asking for a dark room, Andrew, and a bottle of lube.
[We'd gone into Boots - when I was looking at things to ease sore feet, R&A wandered off...and ran back over to me with a bottle of this lube that's supposed to make your skin tingle...bear in mind R&A are both thirteen, ridiculously obsessed with sex, and each other.]
Umm...where to go from that 'interesting' anecdote? =/ I'm not really sure...I missed the 4pm bus, and I couldn't be arsed sitting in a shelter bored out of my brains for another 45 minutes, so I went to a grocery shop and bought a cake, a mango, and a packet of frozen pastry. Took up the time nicely. Home, basically pissing about for a few hours while my feet recover.
I'm trying to get my parents to let me go to Pride this year...I think I'm allowed to go, but they're puzzled as to why I want to go. Seeing as I am 'out' to them, I said that I thought it looked like fun. They don't get it...
