AHM 2009
The first big race after the Sundown Marathon. Lots of things to see today although most events looked similar by now. The day started off early with E picking me up at 4.15am to marina square. Met rainbowranger ,

kelly_yamamoto, contride and Eric at the carpark itself. Headed off to the toilets first then took a brisk walk to the start line.
The race already started by the time we got there. But there were still many others trailing behind us, so there wasn't any rush to the start point. As we crossed the start point, everyone went on their own.
Because the started quite early at 5.30am, it was still quite dark when we reached the ECP stretch. It was a short stretch in and out, around 5km though. Not a very nice route to run considering that the path was narrower than the main road after this. In addition, the salonpas stations were always out of the salonpas sprays. But the drink stations were more than enough.
Managed to complete the race without stopping even though the injury in my left foot was threatening to flare up again. Post-race, we met at the massage parlour station before heading off to marina square for breakfast and wash up. Left there around 11am - one of the earliest times that I left after a race. Maybe an earlier start time helped.
Reached home around 12+, showered and slept till 6.45pm. Very refreshing sleep maybe cuz of the rain outside as well. A wonderful evening if not for the fact that i have to work tomorrow!!! But then, it will be another 4-day week again!!! YES! Then I'm off to Batam. Yipeeee!
