the month of gadgets
to celebrate my birthday, i bought myself an thinkpad x200 to complement my new LCD tv. Both are a steal with prices so low that everything costs below 2.5k. That's like that heftiest sum i ever spent on electronic toys for a long time.
Met up Matt, jm, derrick and E for a simple dinner at ichiban boshi in suntec. Had a bitchiest time hooking up with the cute waiter and for awhile we were trying to decide whether was he from truly asia or china. We even got his name in the end and were contemplating to get his number and MSN as well. Ha!
Later on, an icecream cake was brought in. Wow. It was rock solid and we had a hard time cutting it! In the end, everyone ate directly from the cake instead. The staff at ichiban were as amused as we were.
after the dinner, was so bloated and tired and felt disgusted at myself. yucks..
we headed to this pub in Milenna Walk which i conveniently forgotten the name cuz its like in German or something. had a beer before cabbing home. Knocked out immediately after bathe. Yawn.
Yday met E for a dinner at crystal jade. nothing much cuz I was like OTing till 6+ in office. what a way to celebrate my birthday.
as I speak, my lappy is undergoing formatting. Still can't get used to Vista.
