Back from the hospital
I am fine, but Dan is really sick with food poisoning - had to call the ambulance for him. I know that you generally do have to wait a bit before a doctor can see you, but I don't ever, EVER want to have to stand by and watch that man suffer like he did ever, ever again.
And for the receptionist who watched my lover literally cry with pain on his knees after throwing up and said "well, it's not life-threatening..." Fuck you, you unfeeling bitch.
ETA I also wanted to give a huge thank you (although they'll never read this) to the nurses and doctors who took care of him. Health care pros are incredibly people and I highly respect what they do... I could never do that work :)
