First off, Matt and I are okay. The cats are okay. The apartment, for the most part, is okay. We do not have power, have no idea when we might get power back, and have a warped door and damp spot on our living room ceiling. On the plus side, the FEMA that works (the Femrite Emergency Management Agency, i.e. my in-laws) are sending a care package that should be arriving soon. It includes, among other things, a camp stove! I am so excited - I can cook again.
I'm writing this at work, and we're losing Internet at 12:00 so they can fix a piece of equipment. I will be in tomorrow all day and will write a full update, including the much-awaited "Ohmigod-what-is-it-like-to-go-through-a-hurricane post".
