hi everyone! I updated the look of the community today - I hope you like it :) I've thought of one problem when I was updating, though... I thought I'd ask for your opinion while this community is still small. On
biola, there's a friends page with everyone's personal journal updates. As I was reading through, I realized that I'm not sure what our position should be regarding posts that go against Biola's behavior standards.
I'm absolutely not planning on spending hours on the friends page making sure that everyone's entries fit the behavior standards. I don't have the time to be that militant about it and I'm not sure it's my role. I am concerned for two reasons, though. First, the Bible commands us to humbly keep one another accountable, and second, the Bible commands us to remain above reproach. I'm hesitant to limit the friends page, though, because I think that we may have to keep one another accountable on a more intimate level - friend to friend, not moderator to member.
Let me know what you think about this. For now, I've restricted the friend's page to one entry per page. I wanted to limit this option until we've decided how we want to approach this and then go from there.
1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or (or update?) whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
