Unbelievable...
Three weeks. Not even. The time it takes to change your life.
San Diego was FABULOUS.
I GOT THE JOB!!
Now comes the headache of finding housing and getting my life straightened out, and the heartache of leaving my friends and family behind. But I'm trying to ignore that in favor of being excited.... REALLY excited.
Joe and I went out to celebrate last night, at a fondue restaurant called the Melting Pot. Amazing ambience and even better food. It was a great day all around, but definitely the kind of day that accentuates how much I'll miss him.
So many things to do... I'm trying to set it up so I'll leave NY around the 7th of May, drive to Savannah, spend the night with sis, then drive to AU in time to see graduation on the 10th. After that, the cross-country drive to SD, arriving in time to settle in and start work on or around the 20th.
