This morning, while monitoring the hall, as the students came in for
homeroom, one student made a comment about the Kitty. I made a remark,
about his comment (he'd said something about a Jolly Rancher). As I
generally do, I was scratching the dog's head. She didn't try to lick me,
which is only usual for her if she's hiding paper in her mouth. I decided I
might should check. When I looked, she had a Nylabone sticking out of the
side of her mouth, holding it out of the side, pointing down to the floor.
I'm not used to a dog carrying around her toys while working, but I suppose
this could get to be a good habit (especially when the kids think it's neat.
