Boring...off the top of my head entry...
Well, I am in the middle of "Spring" cleaning. And it is snowing outside.
Yes, I know it is January. But I am feeling anti-social this weekend. And I have nothing planned, except on Sunday. What this results in is me finally saying to myself, "Your apartment will become as close to what you want this weekend."
Those of you that have been to my apartment know that I have one room done to my liking. But sad news...I got rid of the broken couch. Instead I have the beginnings of a day bed for that area, so if anyone wants to sleep over...slumber party!
Surprisingly, I have both my kitchen and my bedroom done...minus a few things. I thought my bedroom would be the last room I got to. But the fact is that it is starting to feel more like a home than a dorm room because I realized I needed to start at the deepest parts of my apartment and work my way out. "If it does not have a place, it does not belong in my apartment" So the three furthest set rooms...bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen are the first to get done.
Unfortunately, all the overflow crap from these rooms is ending up in the living room. But now I just have to box it up for storage, or I have to bag it up for Goodwill. Yay Tax-Writeoff!
Yup, I am glad this is getting done. It comes as a result of a weekedn that fel through with Tish and I...but there were really understandable reasons. And plus, I would not want her driving in this stuff at all. So, that sucks...but she is getting some much deserved rest as a result as well. Oh, the joys of a long distance relationship between two busy people. :)
