(no subject)
I figured I would give a quick life update:
* Unless I mess up big time, I am 99% certain of being rehired. How some other teachers feel on this is another issue, but my administration has told me and showed me that I am needed.
* I am happy at the level and the type of student I am teaching and working with. Middle school can be a lot of fun, but I know where a lot of people are coming from when they say "I'm sorry" upon hearing of my age group.
* I still wish I was back at Augustana for many the reasons, thus I cannot wait for home concert.
* The musical I am in...well...yup.
* Long distance sucks
* I wish more than my mother lived around the south 'burbs...or that there was interesting enough things around here to draw some people to my neck of the woods.
* I would not eat if it wasn't for huge cheap-family-sized-refridgerator-friendly portions from Popeye's, White Castles, Chinese restaurants, Ricobene's, Gino's East, Pepe's, and Portillo's. If you do not know these places, you are not blessed (or having future clogged arteries).
* Kittens are fun, unless it is 4am.
