The Scribbles Of Someone Who Scribbles
this weekend was somewhat eventful, Friday I woke up and my right leg was rather gimped to the point where I was limping off and on all day, now if it were a constant pain that would've been a lot easier to deal with but as it was, the pain would be there, then go away so I could walk normally then start up again. So that took some getting used to but it became somewhat manageable by the end of the day because I knew what to expect. When I got home from school there was a note on my door to call Kyle( my ex roomie who had moved out a few weeks ago) he was having a party at his place but I was in no condition to get my groove on so I stayed home. My mom had also called so I called her back and talked to the parental units for a bit all the while sitting on the floor in the hallway, so when I stood up my leg had become nothing more than dead weight so I went into my room to get my laptop and set up camp for the night in the living room. I found out some things that night, like the fact that we have the Biography Channel (bad thing for me to find out, I'll always be watching it), and more importantly the fact that Ida is an amazing poet, I mean I already figured as much from the poem for Voice class and just her over all personality but she translated something she had written and WOW, just...WOW truly great work and I know she won't believe me and that miss Ida reads this so I shant go into great detail, but t'was a true work of art. Saturday I woke up at 2:30 and lazed around for the afternoon talking to folk on MSN and the like, Ida and I planned to watch The Boondock Saints before Kitty's party of the birthday persuasion but by the time everything was said and done t'was fairly late. There were a few glitches in the plan the main one being we were going to meet at Starbucks but my bus had many problems and had to get set back on the tracks a few times and at one point completely broke down, so I got there as it was closing (at 7), then when we got back here I had to put my clothes in the dryer for the second time ( stupid machine) and we watched some of The Office and then headed over to Kitty's once I had thrown all my clean clothes on my bed and once we had both talked to Stefan for a bit on the phone. Kitty's party was fun, we watched Monty Python And The Quest For The Holy Grail as well as played Shout About Movies and watched Russell Peter's newest DVD. Around 7AM we decided to head to Simone's to sleep and we started to watch Hitch hiker's Guide but all fell asleep. When I woke up it was just Simone, Ida and I, so we made Coffee and then watched Alex & Emma, Ida and I made our usual comments in regards to the movie much to Simone's dismay, she seems to think if we say anything negative about the movie that we loathe it and would like to see it shot. I don't know about Ida but I just pick out things in movies that I don't think are right, I do it with all movies, I've yet to see a movie (excluding Envy) that I flat out hated. The three of us went to the Salt And Pepper Bar and Grill for supper then back to Simone's to watch some House, M.D. AND AND AND Stefan and his mom came over, WHOO! its good to have him back and since he'll be reading this, everyone else bugger off for a second
