My mother is amazingly good at hoarding things for years. She dug up a gold penicillin bracelet that I had when I was like, 5, and gave it to me, on account of this skin melting from flesh allergy issue ( Read more... )

Yeah, it's something like that. It's a red hexagon, with gold triangles around the edge and a gold border, with a gold snake coiled around a gold staff in the centre.

does the bracelet mean if i take the bracelet and give you sars and they think its a cold and give you penicilin but you cant say no dont give me penicilin because i have sewed your mouth shut matrix enter the matrix style you will die?

WTF? Panadol has no penicillin in it, Sean!! :) Penicillin is an antibiotic, different to paracetamol or codeine, which are ... alkaloids I think?

hee hee. Codeine is an alkaloid, possibly also paracetamol. But they're analgesics or whatever. Codeine's an opiate!

Yeah, I'm totally paranoid of old bread now. I've decided it's best just to throw it out *just in case*.

My doctor thought it was amusing when I told him that I used to just toast the bread if it looked like it might be mouldy. :P
