So I was talking with my friend/roommate Jen last night about apartments and condos, and living in Toronto since she's moving there in January and...well...I'm from there. At one point she asked me how old my apartment is and I had to calculate it thinking "ok, I was three when we moved in, so my age minus three, that's 21 minus 3" and for some reason this was taking longer to calculate than normal since I'm always really fast with my math skills. And then it hit me! HOLY CRAP!! I'm not 21, I'm 23!!! What the hey! Where did those two years come from? How am I forgetting my age? I'm 23?!?! When did that happen? Honestly, this growing older thing is getting harder and harder to remember. I'm not growing up so it's hard to remember I'm getting older. DUDE!! 23 is getting to the sounding kind of like the ages where one is expected to be settled down....oh man. I can just imagine being 28 and still thinking I'm 21. I guess that was a good year? No clue. But seriously: weird!
also, my update page has changed, this all looks different. Change always seems to catch me offguard :) Thank goodness I'm not opposed to it.
