I love DST

Daylight Savings time is awesome (at least for now). Xander's been waking up after 8 and today e wasn't up until 9. Elizabeth slept until about 8:30 for me, though she is a little fitful from 5:30 on. I think shhe's eating twice in the 'night' now because I can't be bothered to get out of bed to feed her. just roll onto whatever side I need to feed on and doze while she feeds. LOL Shawn can't wait for her to get out of our bed but, I think I'll miss the side-lying feedings where I don't have to get up in th emiddle of the night. I've been much more rested since taking advantage of her excellent nursing skills.

Xander started giving me kisses last week. It was really cute. I never kiss him on the lips (if you've ever seen infant and toddler lips, you know why not) but, for some reason that's the only place he'll kiss me and with a slightly open mouth, no less. Needless to say they are wet kisses but, it's really cute. He likes making the lips smacking sound after he's pulled away. LOL

Other than tht, not much has been happening. Elizabeth is definitely growing at a much slower rate than Xander, at least when it comes to weight. I think she's growth spurting now because she's been eating every hour or so since yesterday. She should be back to her once ever 2 hour feeding schedule tomorrow (that seems to be her pattern so far). I need to make up some photo sequences and wallpapers as well as print out some pics for Shawn. I want to make a wallpaper with the two kids with "Daddy's Little Dictator" and "Daddy's Monkey". Shawn keeps calling Elizabeth his dictator because of the way she moves her arms about (they look more like cheerleader arms than dictator's but, I can see the resemblance to the 'hail Hitler' move the Nazis made).

We get to go to the doctor yet again next Thurs so I can get this new birthcontrol thing. It's gonna cst us $100 up front but, it lasts 5 years, is as effective as sterilization, and that's the same cost as a year's worth of the pill. We don't plan on having any more kids (we don't have the money or the space for them) but, we don't want to make the drastic step of sterlization just yet (Shawn JUST turned 30 for goodness sake and I still got another 2 years until I hit that lovely milestone) in case somewhere down the road we get a bigger house and decide we want another one. I'm not sure if we'd want to take the risk yet again since we've got one of each, maybe adoption would be better, but we'd just rather play it 'safe' and do a non-permanent type thing for now while we're still in our prime childbearing years. LOL
