So annoyed...  Have a five day weekend, decide to go home for post-wedding stuff and family visits.  Go to Geoff's and get ignored for almost the whole time we're there, except for at meals which were mostly spent arguing with Geoff's mom about holidays.  My mother's birthday is Christmas Eve, I am going to spend it with her thankyouverymuch especially since we're doing Thanksgiving at the Basore's!  And the one thing I asked Geoff to ask her not to make, she makes.  I really hate tomato sauce.  This means that I don't like to eat pizza (regular pizza anyway).  His mom makes pizza that is so dripping with sauce that it doesn't even cook through in the middle.  Which apparently is fine with all of them, but raw dough is pretty darn gross if you ask me... and he knows I don't like it.  Heck, she knows I don't like it.  So why did we have it?  Blargh!

On Saturday evening we went to my house and stopped by a BBQ that my sister's boyfriend's mom was throwing for her birthday for a little while.  On Sunday, went on a double-date with Sis and Dan to Cheeburger-Cheeburger, where Geoff ate his second pounder and got himself on the "Repeat Offender's" board.  :-D  Then we went to King of Prussia to shop (we sent the boys to the arcade).  I was looking for some professional clothes for grad school interviews, but I gained some weight since the wedding (poo) so I'm going to hold off for a little while.  I made delicious fish for dinner (if you like tilapia, let me know, I'll send you the recipe.  Sooo good!) and showed Mom all the grad schools I want to apply to.

This morning, we went to see our photographer.  The one who told us we could do all the album design online, the one who bailed on us 3 days before the wedding, and the one who suddenly decided that we had to come in person for a design meeting.  Show up at 10:30, where he starts off by saying that early morning apointments are kind of inconvenient for him.  ...?  Sorry?  You said we could come then... and we have a 5 hour drive home... we can't do evenings unless you're willing to meet on the weekend.  Which you're not.  Anyway, it all sort of went downhill from there.  Mom paid up front for our package, which came with the 8 hours of time and an album.  We didn't know much about the album, but since he specializes in custom designs, I figured we'd at least be able to design the layout.  Silly me...  The amount of money left in our package couldn't even pay for photos if we got a custom album.  We could get a cover, and pages.  That's it.  If we wanted pictures, it would cost us at least 500 dollars over, or even more if we wanted anything larger than 4x5 prints.  None of this was explained to us ahead of time, and I was rather surprised.  There's no way that Mom, or Geoff and I, can afford that much for pictures.  We could get a fixed album, but we'd either have to cut the number of pictures we want in half, or pay extra still.  Geoff is thinking that we'll just use our leftover money to get as many loose prints as we can and then put an album together ourselves.  That's looking pretty good to me too, but I'm annoyed.  I wanted the nice white leather bound book, with the cameo cut-out, and "Our Wedding" in fancy silver script on the cover.  Meh.

And now we're back in Troy.  Geoff is going to be gone all day and most of the evening tomorrow.  :-(  I'm going to do homework and clean.  w00t.  It will be nice to have the bedroom clean though.  I'm switching over to the down comforter too since it's getting cold at night.  Sorry for the rants, it's been a long weekend.  So long!
