Birthday time
Yesterday was my 20th birthday. I'm no longer a teenager... It feels kind of weird actually. I had a pretty good day though. The weather was miserable, cold and rainy and windy. Ick. Geoff and I went to church, and then we joined Mom and Sis at Red Lobster for a late lunch. Later, Mom made me birthday brownies since we didn't have any cake mix. But that's fine, I'm not a big cake fan... and they were double chocolate fudge brownies. :D And of course there were lovely presents!
I <3 Geeks tshirt from Sis, and also the sugar bowl and creamer set from my dishes. (The small black thing in the front. The creamer sits on top of the sugar bowl! :D ) From Mom: Pitcher in my pattern, big bar of special dark chocolate (<3), Blue Angel message board, Fruit shaped cookie cutters, and electric candle for a window in the apartment (Yay Pennsylvania traditions!). The Regal gift card is from Geoff's mom.
On Saturday, Geoff took me to see Prince Caspian. It was amazing! I'm not sure if I like it better than the first one, but Prince Caspian sure was pretty to look at... :D We went to dinner at Max and Erma's too. They have a make your own sundae bar! It was much fun. Today we had our engagement picture session in a park near the photographer's studio. It was nice I guess. I really don't like having my picture taken... especially professional pictures. I always feel awkward. *shrug* I'm sure they'll come out well though, Keith takes good pictures. I wanted a picture of us playing Scrabble, but it was really windy and cold, so we didn't stay terribly long. On the plus side, my hair will have that lovely windblown look... :-) Anyway, it's dinner time, so I must go... So long!
