i miss ADA McCoy

I miss my escapist shows. Before our television went bye-bye last month, my couch potato alter-ego was quite well fed.

Mondays - Bones
Tuesdays - The Closer
Wednesdays - Prison Break
Thursdays - Cold Case
Everyday at 1pm - reruns of Law and Order ad Law and Order: Special Victims Unit

Okay, so I seem to have developed a kink for cops, lawyers and prisoners. Don't ask me how and why.

My daughter and I watch Project Runway (season 1) when we can catch it. Also Veronica Mars. I'm pretty up-to-date with VM since we get it via torrents. VM sort of replaced Buffy in our mom and daughter bonding session.

My son and I bond over Animal Face-Off, which is an entertaining watch if you're the type who's wondered about which is meaner and badder between say, the elephant and the rhino or between the collosal squid and the sperm whale. (The elephant wins trunk down, and the sperm whale clobbers the squid)

**ADA (Assistant District Attorney) McCoy is one of main characters in Law and Order. A political liberal who's not above stretching the interpretation of law, he is prone to oratorical drama in the courts, and is recovering alcoholic with a history of romancing his younger female colleagues. Basically, the type of man who in real life I'd call a bastard to his face. But on the screen, he's my guilty pleasure. **
