Wow! I just sat on a hard wooden bench listening to this man and the next thing I knew three hours had gone by. He didn't even come up for air.
He's given me hope again that the next century will be a forward thinking one. That if we all believe that the forces of ignorance and prejudice can be pushed back, maybe, just maybe, they will be.
For no real reason, I was surfing wikipedia today and starting reading up on the creationist's efforts to re-infect the world with their regressive and ignorant world views. It made me despair to see how much weight these cretins can carry.
But a few hours of Mr. Rollins esq. has lifted me out of that fatalistic funk. (for now)
