Summary: There was always that fear every member had. Now, the fear is at its height.
Warning: Uh... This isn't really a good one because it's 10PM right now and my toe hurts.
A/N: I'm sorry if this isn't that good, but hey, I just got a hole drilled in my toe. I think I deserve some sympathy. :D Okay no.
Disclaimer: I do not own Super Junior or their feelings, as much as I'd like to. All I own is this plot, and my obsession with angst.
Even when they debuted, they had that horrible little fear in their hearts. After all, Super Junior was supposed to keep changing members every single year; the fear had to be there.
So it was a huge relief when they found out they weren't going to change members. Maybe add a few, but not change them.
But then so many things had happened.
So much pain had been caused. Hankyung had left, Kibum concentrating on his acting career. And to top it off, Kangin had gone to the army.
Yet, things were proceeding as normal. KRY would have their concert in Japan, and everything would be just fine.
Yes, everything was going to be fine, Yesung contemplated, that was what Teukie hyung said when they all left, just like that.
Yesung was known for being the weird, and somewhat childish one. But recent events had mentally matured him, and reminiscing had become his favourite past time.
This little fear was at its peak now, he thought. With the KRY concert, and the members all disappearing somewhere, that fear was sucking up all the worry and bottled up anger it could get. Yesung would not think of those things; he would not let that stupid, horrible fear win.
Ryeowook sat next to him, napping quietly after the long practice for their anticipated concert. Wookie was always trying his best, but always smiling. Never letting that fear take over. For such a little kid, he was so strong mentally and emotionally. And Kyuhyun, who was still talking to Sungmin like they hadn't sang their hearts out for the past 5 hours, who was always snarky. Kyuhyun, who was always such a master of masking his fear; masking that concern.
Sungmin and Donghae, who weren't a part of KRY, but were basically permanent guests. Donghae, being younger, released his fear more often, yet, he was strong, tsuyoi, Yesung recalled that word from his Japanese lessons. Sungmin, who was known to the fans as the cute pink prince. Sungmin, who garnered concern from the fans for his lack of laughter in front of the camera. Sungmin, who deep inside, had let the fear take over, but was yet, unwilling to admit it.
Yesung garnered all his Japanese ability, and spelt out the phrase on his notepad:
恐怖は彼らに食べていた。
그 두려움이 우리를 먹고있다.
The fear was eating away at them.
One by one, he knew, the members would all succumb to it. And he would too, he had decided. He would not hang on to a lost hope, and have his feelings crushed. Yesung started to scribble on the notepad, covering what he had written.
In his contemplating process, he had completely forgotten about Donghae, who had been quietly sitting behind Yesung. The younger spoke up.
"Hyung, we won't last forever, even I know that. But do you think that we'll just, maybe, forget about each other for something or someone else?"
Yesung, for once, responded maturely.
"No way, Donghae. Even if that fear eats us up, we will not live that fear. It will be just a fear, nothing else but a fear. In no way will it be reality. So don't worry."
Ryeowook had quietly woken up, and said, "Yesung hyung, why are you so serious all of a sudden?"
Kyuhyun, who had been avidly talking to Sungmin, snickered, "It's Yesung hyung. You can never know what goes on in his head."
Sungmin added, "This is why we all love each other like a big, fat family. Because everyone is so weird."
Yesung started to think that maybe, just maybe, that fear would disappear slowly, although it was probably impossible. Just then, all 5 of the members' phones went off with the messaging alert.
Yesung stared at his phone, then laughed in his happy, jovial manner. Soon, he was joined by the other 4, who had also read their messages.
'Everyone, ^_^, we'll love each other forever, RIGHT?! I mean, if you guys don't love me, no one will. >< NEVER FORGET THE AWESOME LEADER LEETEUK/ PARK JUNGSU. ^___^ <3 <3'
Yesung was pretty sure that the fear of the members forgetting each other for other things, and other people, was never actually going to happen.
The fear was vanquished.
