My Uncle Ray (my mom's only living family member)is in the hospital for aneurism. He was at work 2 weeks ago (tomorrow) bending over lifting something when suddenly he had a major pain in his head. He had tried to convice the people he works with to let him drive home( his shop is right at the end of parham on 301 the richfood plant and his house is in King and Queen). The nurse there put and ice pack on his head(which saved his life) and he tried to see if the headache would pass well they decided to take him to the hospital and he had lost his hearing at that time. He went into the emergency room they checked him and made sure he was safe to transport and sent him to the henrico doctors on forest. Since he arrived Tuesday he's had about 4 cat scans,3angograms, and 4 mri's. At first they couldn't find what caused it because there was too much blood. A day or two later they found the vein. He keeps having really had headaches since his been in there which is why they keep doing the test. Today is his final test and Henrico Doctors to see if he needs surgery or if he can go home. If he needs surgery he will have to go to the UVA hospital and stay there for at least 10 days. If he goes home that's pretty much saying that everything is ok and that there isn't a big possibilty this could happen again. Mom is extremly upset. He is really the only family of hers she has left. My Uncle Rays wife my Aunt Dorcas has been staying at the hospital pretty much everynight. She's gone home I think 3 times pretty much to get a change of clothes and bring some food back.So today we're waiting on what's going to happen.
