dat best workmanship prize
Well I'm back, and holy damn the internet is working at my apartment again.
Ai-Kon was rather mixed for me but overall, good. Erin (Undertaker), Ebo (Dagger), Kiro (Ciel) and I (Joker) did a walk-on in the Intermediate group and won Best Workmanship. This was our prize. Lol wut? So it has since been dubbed "The Naked Lady" and is on my coffee table. I'm probably going to go get a base for it and turn it into an actual trophy because that would be funny.
I feel my art table went over really well, I sold about 94 magnets. Ai-kon is only 2k people so that's pretty awesome. I even made a profit, which I promptly spent. One of the big reasons I love going to Canada conventions is that their Dealer's Rooms have so many different things than American ones. I didn't actually take any cosplay pictures at this con so the only pictures I have are of the cool stuff I got:
The middle Hitman Reborn print and I are engaged to be married this fall.
The big bad thing that happened was Saturday night someone busted in my driver's side window and stole Tony's GPS thingy. The only other car that got broken into had Minnesota plates so.. probably going after Americans. Lame, Canada. Real lame. Thankfully we probably won't have to pay to replace it because my parents are thinking about trading it in. Still. Had to drive like three hours on the interstate with a piece of plastic over the window and stopped every ten minutes to re-duct tape.
Just finished off the rest of the tiramisu dessert Pocky I bought, mmm.
