This past year has been an absolute roller coaster. My mom has gotten seriously ill, my grandmother died. I've gotten married and been on honeymoon. Ren Faire has been hectic, losing so many members and gaining so many others. Girls Days and concerts. Las Vegas and Disneyland and Red Rocks. Transferring from San Jose to Oakland. Working 70+ hours a week. Shawn starting a new job losing said job and getting another new job. Losing Kelley but gaining Stacey. Sweetness, Kris, Michelle and Melissa have been Godsends! Working with the Pre-teens and Alateens. Woods x2. Getting back in contact with Kym and Jenn in San Diego. Making the trek to Texas. About to go back. Closing down Mom's house getting ready for her to go. I think that's been the hardest out of everything, anticipating your parents death is harsh. It has made me want to re-connect with old friends and I even found one of my cousins in this crazy livejournal world. Thinking about making contact, but she is from my Dad's family and they don't have anything to do with me. Maybe this is a tap from above that I found her and maybe she'll want to know other family...I can only hope.
I know there are a few things coming up in the near future...Dave H's annual BBQ and Jez's B-day, Valhalla Ren Faire, GG Ren Faire and Folsom Ren Faire...maybe I'll see you at one of those events!
