Lynn didn't even have the guts to have Michael get seriously hurt and maybe re-evaluate his priorities, or Deanna consider separation unless Michael got his act together and began to behave like a father and husband instead of just a guy who lived in the attic with his work. No, all we get out of this supposedly dramatic event is this family moving permanently into little sister's bedroom.
This sort of stupidity reminds me of something that happened just before I joined the community:
