The Foobs on 45....
Sep 07, 2024 14:33
I was looking on the FBorFW Facebook page and saw an article about the forty-fifth anniversary of the strip. It's probably on the News page on the website by now so we should probably check it out.

We begin with Young, Cute Elly pissed off at being told to swallow her discontent with her oaf husband.
We end with a side character doing a title drop when it's promised that the cycle of frustrated housewives and cloddish husbands will continue.
Yuck.
Ptooie.

The next day, the first-ever daily strip came out-Lynn had no way of knowing that she would continue writing and drawing FBorFW® until August of 2008!
I believe the new-runs continued on to 2010. I guess we are not counting new-runs in this anniversary and frankly, who could blame them?

I'm surprised the last IDW collection includes them.
