Gordon may have been held back a year but it did not take long for him to be in the same grade as Lawrence and Mike. I had forgotten the one and only time we got to see Gordon's dad.

that ranks right up there with a movie I saw on TV where the word "dick" got routinely dubbed over by the word "pig", which led to a line which was in the original "that guy looks like he doesn't have a dick" transformed into the nonsense "that guy looks like he doesn't have a pig"!

It's like how it took years for me to realize that Stantz was actually accusing Walter Peck of not having a dick.

I am going to guess a Fisher-Price dolly is still more realistic than Lynn's drawing. However, I am unable to find such a picture.

"I accept your apology, but you'll still suffer all of the consequences." If I were Gordon, I would have told Elly where she could stick her "acceptance" if the consequences meant I was going to be beaten up. Who cares if you accept the apology or not, Elly, if it has zero impact on your actions?

"I asked them to come sober." Will alcohol be served at the reception? Your parents have a drug addiction, Gordon. Shaming them might make you feel pious and superior, but it won't do a damn thing for your parents.
