Its a Lovely day!
its a beautiful day outside. the sun is shining, there are hardly any clouds, everything is green, and its wonderfully warm :)
the Jake and Niles Hougaboom going away party is today (i think its one that A cappella choir is throwing for them). its a surprise party. i was invited but im still not sure if i want to go. i know Jake, as in i know who he is, he knows who i am, we have exchanged words on very brief occasions, but i dont know him well enough that if he were throwing the party he would invite me. i know there will be people there that i know and everything so it has potential for being fun, but im really bad with parties sometimes and i dont want to end up being all uncomfortable. well, i dont have to be there until 5, so i guess i have time to decide what i want to do.
everything has been lovely since wednesday. i had been feeling weirdly toward Dustin since a day or two before is open house and then the feeling lingered afterward. im not exactly sure why the weirdness ensued, but it did. but wednesday was a good day! he came and we swam, went to the coffee shop, went to target, went to ashley's, watched a stupid homevideo that maura and i made, ran through the sprinklers at the athletic field by my house (and got covered in grass). it was lovely. sometimes its good to be 4. but, much to my dismay, i was having a really emotionally weird day that day and there were times when he didnt even do anything and i just wanted to cry. i hate being a girl. but those feelings were easy to bypass (since they were mostly hormonal to begin with) and i had a good day. perhaps the last 45 minutes he was here were the best. :) I love my beautiful boy!
so everyone is finally home from Europe. Maura, Kelly and Ashley. i got my French cheese too :). i havent tried it yet, but im sure its just lovely.
well, i dont really have much else to say. yay for boring updates!
