silly season
So, It's getting up to *that* time of year again, so i thought i would make a list of things i like that people might feel like getting for me, either for *that* date, or my birthday in a few months after that... (seriously, only 3 months away!)
This list has 2 types of gifts- the not-so-obvious and the you-know-i-want-it-and-yes-i-don't-have-it piles
-sock yarn in a can
-knitting bags (these are just examples, if you can get one locally or make one more cheaply even better!)
-Not-knitting bags (same goes as for above)
-actually - i'm pretty much just loving shana logic!
-bamboo skirt kit (in the plum would be great)
-any awesome and unusual yarns
-a hand spindle
-A subscription to vogue knitting, yarn, delicious, gourmet traveller, or something else delectably me
-anything cool and funky from etsy
-anything from local markets (mainly bags, clothes, yarns, jewellery and housewares (i need a vase!)
-anything from my Amazon wish list, (which includes all my DVD longings) although somethings are there more for idea fodder... but anything marked highest/high priority i'm pretty damned keen on
-Anything new on the bookshelves by Terry Pratchett, Fiona MacIntosh, Neil Gaiman, or anyone else you know i love
-Wild Nature cosmetics and skin care products
-Fyrrinae cosmetics (the wishlist is just colours i like, I sure as hell don't think i'll EVER USE (let alone get) all of these)
-My Reciepts folder from KikkiK or other organisational / totally adorable things
-Neco have some interesting and useful gift ideas... including chi microfibre cleaning cloths! (yes I am a domestic goddess - in theory anyway)
-Iced tea jug
-A popcorn maker (air popper)
I will update this as i think of things that make me go mmmmm....
And of course anything chosen or made with love and care will be wonderful, as will the love and
presence of my favourite people. XD
