I am delusionally sleepy and frighteningly cold
TRALALALA
I was at Peko Peko, dressed, makeupped and hair-doned at SIX AM on saturday and SEVEN THIRTY AM on Sunday.
I didn't know those times existed!
It was for a film shoot for an awesome VCA foundy called Luke Richardson for a film called FANCY which Dea was producing... therefore we could talk crazy tired aquarius talk at 4pm on Sun afternoon together. Doing the last shot where she was an extra was HILARIOUS since we were all crazy faces and weird words with each other.
The people on film were great and I got to work with my darling Liam for the first time since Midsummer's which was FABULOUSO. I really do adore that boy in so many ways (cept for the liberal voting thing) and I totally had no trouble acting 'in love from a distance' lol.
I am really really keen to see the final result for this film, since the interesting part will all be done in post! it's animation of Jen's thoughts .... crazy land! lol.
Also the camera man was cute, though dea assures me taken and don't-go-there land. does not change the cute factor however.
I also went to
daniel_bethany's birthday dinner which was lovely, even though I had eaten an obscene amount of food on saturday (mostly rice, since i was testing out the ricecooker i bought at burwood kmart because it was open at 10pm (it's 24 hours) when i was going past and I COULD!) so i only had a salad and a bit of the remaining dips (I was late arriving, what with falling asleep after the SIX AMNESS) but scrummo!
we had much fun discussing books and macs and laughing at the bellydancer who looked like fran drescher. she got people up to dance, and everyone was eyeing me off, but she seemed to only pick tables with 'ethnicity' which sounds worse than it is meant to sound... but yeah, lebanese or other similar ethnicities and more middleagey type people.
She wasn't too bad, and was a great shimmier, but her stances weren't good and she played a bit too much on the 'porny' moves...
also... NANNY FACTOR IS WEIRD IN A BELLY DANCER!
and i got a turkish delight for free!! yay!! mmmmmmmmm i ated it yesterday.

since Mat has not gotten back to me about the Melbourne cup and it is tomorrow, i am not going, instead i will be sleeping until at least 11 (or lying in bed doing not much if i wake up) and then i *might* do something... i have tickets for 'death at a funeral' that need using... but otherwise i will spend a blissful day of doing bugger all! especially since my internet resets tomorrow! ah sweet broadband speed... how i miss thee!

also i really need to make myself some icons from the following fandoms - Supernatural (mmm) Heroes (SRSLY... none???) Dr Who (blink ftw!) Bionic Woman (Katee Sakoff mostly) Bones (the recent halloween ep has great fodder) and Moonlight (Sophia Miles = pretty)
