Pirates, Bultlers, Teas and Tv
my date has been postponed til Friday
this of course is fine except that it gives me more time to get in my own way
but i am feeling ok at the moment
went and grabbed my promised free beverage (compensation for the postponement) and we had a very nice chat about all sorts of things.
still it's all very strange.
Went shopping with mah Essie yesterday which was wonderfulness.
Bought new jeans (the same levi's number -632- as a pair i bought in January, but in a darker colour), a black summery dress and a waist belt from Just Jeans, a pink Metalicus dress that makes me feel like a ballerina and a car ipod converter for only $40. And it's pink to match my ipod. heee!
spent a LOT of money though.
I also bought 3 teas (+ canisters) from T2. Sydney Breakfast (which is a fancy earl grey looking at the ingredients! - black tea + bergamot) Billy Bush Tucker (daintree tea + lemon verbana + lemon myrtle) and Raspberry Rush (black tea + hibiscus + raspberry leaf + dried raspeberry pieces and something else i don't remember)
Have only tried the Raspberry Rush so far. I had it w very creamy milk and it tastes like dessert!! raspberries and cream. mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I am about to try the Billy Tea cos it didn't all fit in the canister so i have a jar for work!
Sajee cooked awesome awesome awesome lemon risotto last night. *is stealorzing recipe*
overall it was a very lovely relaxing day - just what i needed. And then i went home was mobbed by furballs and watched GAs and Private Practice. The jury is still out for me on Private Practice. I am beginning to think that Kate Walsh is at heart a comic actress though. I quite love her expressions. I think the dynamic of the show is still settling though. (It feels a little like it will be what Boston Legal is to The Practice but less so. Or a medical Ally McBeal without the crazy)
I am also now approximately 2 hours from level 70 on Lillarae according to Sajee's titan bar!
OMG- also hilarious yesterday was the call from my mum from my grandmother's house at dinner last night. My Uncle AND Aunt were there with my dad (always a chaotic combination) and my Uncle was all like, what you need jennifer, is a pirate (ie a male who comes in and takes what he wants) and i'm all I KNOW BUT THEY RUN AWAY - and i can hear my ENTIRE family laughing from Adelaide. In the meantime though i am apparently allowed to enjoy the Butlers (men who give a woman everything he can).
Ahhhh the philosophies of life love and sex from an aging womanising artist...
