Well, this festival is certainly...interesting, to say the least. I still can't believe Mum actually had a kimono. Why did she even make me wear it? It seems like I missed the first day, though. A shame since I read that odd things were happening on the first day, I'm a little bit curious to know what's going on but I'm sure it's just the usual antics of the castle and probably won't repeat itself.
At least I managed to get the oar up to the broom shack and put it there for safe-keeping, though. That sputtering of dying magic it was doing could have gotten me a warning from the Ministry. I'm so glad Dumbledore understood the situation.
