It's so fucking hot. The aircon doesn't reach my room well enough. I had no idea it was new years eve tomorrow until I woke up this morning. I completely lost track of what day it was, and therefore missed Smallville for the third time in a row.
What are people's plans for tomorrow night? It seems as though the only decent thing to do in Brisbane if you're under 18 and don't want to spend $70 is go to Southbank. Ainsley and I are going to Shelton's party for a while (until we get sick of the music) and then then into Southbank for a swim and to watch the fireworks. I hear they have Salsa dancing on as well. I'm really going to enjoy celebrating the end of this year, because overall it's been pretty crap.
To those who didn't manage to get Big Day Out tickets and wanted to.. you poor things. HAHA. It's going to be awesome. I'm kind of glad that fairy boy gave Sara Oasis and U2 dvds, I've been watching them to death.
The post-Christmas sales weren't as good as I had anticipated; Myer's was a let down. Everything's just so ridiculously over-priced to begin with that sales don't make much of a difference. I did score 2 tops elsewhere, though.
I made stewed plums with ice-cream today. T'was fantastic. I'm sticking to my chair.
