Hello all. I had a really pleasant day/night yesterday. In the morning, Nicole came over and we predicted our futures all day, lying around on my floor. It's really creepy how many details we found out, so I won't go into it because even I'm a little scared by it. I'm not sure how accurate it is though..
Then in the afternoon we went back to her house to drop off my stuff and met Ainsley and Lars at Mount Ommaney, where we found the ever-present "Mount Om Bogan-Sluts" from school, an ATM and a few too many Riverhills buses. When we arrived in the city we bought drinks and sat by the water. I love the view of the city at night. We then headed over to Little Stanley Street to go to the salsa-dancing class. It was soo much fun, and it's always been something I have wanted to try. At first it was just the instructors, the four of us and about three other people, and by the end there was a group of about twenty people. I seemed to forget about all the people watching, and just had a good time. I really want to start classes now.
After rejuvenating on the grass in Southbank we browsed through the markets where we bumped into Garth and Emma (their cousin, who is a shocking driver). After that we went back over to the cinemas to see Harry Potter again. I liked it just as much the second time, especially on the huge screen, and it was entertaining with Ainsley there to make sick/strange jokes about many of the scenes.
Nicole: *Is mumbling something (probably about Emma Watson to Ainsley)
*meanwhile Harry is getting undressed and into the bath on-screen*
Ainsley: "Shut up, shut up, shut up, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!" *Stares intently at screen*
Everybody else in the cinema: *Turns around, snickering*
We couldn't carry out our detergent-in-the-fountains plan, because we were picked up earlier than was planned.
Once back at Nicole's, the three of us (girls) told more of our futures and contemplated the meaning of life (or in Ainsley's case, stared into space picturing herself flipping her hair seductively). It was so much fun. All hail holidays!
