In-Progress : Groceries for a Friend
Who: Miyako, Yamato, Hawkmon and Gabumon

Where: Yamato's place
Summary: Miyako and Hawkmon drop by Yamato's apartment to pass along some groceries to help him out during the food shortage.
There was one good thing about owning a convenience store during times like this. Despite how chaotic and busy it normally was, the Inoue's were at least exempt from having to worry about the food shortage going around Tokyo.
It was because of this that their family had been sharing whatever wasn't getting bought up with other relatives and friends whenever they could, trying to help support those that were important to them. During this time of crisis, it felt like the least they could do.
With that in mind, Miyako stared at the door before her, feeling somewhat awkward. As much as she was sure this trip would be appreciated, it still felt weird to be dropping in at Yamato's place by herself. However, Yamato and Taichi were the two of the chosen who she lived near that were living off on their own - and seeing as how Momoe was dating Taichi, she assumed the Yagami boy was already getting any help he might need.
That left Yamato.
She didn't know Yamato all that well, so it felt a bit strange, but she wasn't about to ask Mantarou to go with her, and Chizuru was cleaning the store, while Momoe was working at the hospital again. That meant she had had no choice but to go it alone this time.
What's wrong with you, Miyako? We're doing this to help out Yamato-san! There's no reason to be hesitating! she told herself, squaring her shoulders as she looked to Hawkmon for help with the knocking. "Hawkmon, could you get the door? My hands are kind of full."
"Of course, Miyako-san." Hawkmon fluttered closer to the door and gave a knock, before frowning over at his partner. "Although you could have let me help carry those for you, you know."
