campers in the facility bathroom vents are lame!
laser light shows are INSANE! :D okay, admittedly the visuals for the Pink Floyd sucked royally, for radiohead they were... well you go see for yourself next time! i'm especially glad to have had a partner to share the whole experience with, of which i'm sure we'll see a lot more together. other than that, i can safely say that anime had stolen my soul for the past week or so. but now that i'm done with jigoku shoujo and eureka seven (wiki both if you must), it's time i move into more practical activities.
it's strange really... this summer will be longest time i've ever spent outside of a learning establishment... and i can safely say i'm missing every second of it. so, i've taken it upon myself to read up on a lot of things i could be learning! if i've ever wanted anybody to learn a little something from reading my LJ, it's this:
Boredom is poison for the mind. It is wasted time in which you are pining over "things you could be doing." If you ever find yourself in a place where you feel as if you have nothing to do, remember Wikipedia. To be granted with something so great- this... FREE encyclopedia of information at our fingertips- seems almost unfeasible. And, as with any website, it could one day go down. Don't take it for granted.
quick shoutouts!: casey, i apologize for not having seen you in a couple weeks or so. we will definitely hang out soon. alex, thank you for all the help you've given me this past month or so. i am definitely in debt to you. danny, i'm glad we're talking more now! we were in a bit of a slump there, but you're still one my best friends. drew, your work schedule's a little hectic, but at least we still get to hang some with the larger group. janel, we'll hang out soon here. you've got to tell me about your days off sooner! justine, partner in crime, i'm planning more for the roadtrip now. sorry i'd been slacking so much before. alonso... CHEEK! oh- and definitely some flannies too (that goes for you too héffe, alex, ricky). marissa, now you too will be huddled up in your room watching scrubs forever!! you should find someone to share the madness. dean, bushy, rr, noelle, jamal, matt, gio, rachel, catheryn, kenzy: you guys are a trip in your own way... but i was just too lazy to write more stuff out, hahahaha. shoutouts done.
