So, yesterday I was a happy little goldfish in the water. I had just found out that Simon Amstell would be trying out new stand-up stuff in London when I would be there for Pegasus 4. I made noises only dogs can hear, informed
tmz_cori,
kat_fanfic and
mamoru22 that we would have to go there no matter what and bounced excitedly up and down.
This morning at 11 am GMT, the tickets went online. I immediatly ordered 4. Got into a virtual queue and was then informed that all tickets were sold out. And it wasn't even 11:05 am by that time.
So now I am in London in January. Simon performs in London in January. AND I CAN'T GO BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET ANY TICKETS.
Let me express my feelings through song:

(yes I know you can't see anything, that's why I said express my feelings through song, not through video)
Phew. Now I've told LJ, Twitter, cori, mamoru, anne, my mother and my grandmother about my misery. Especially my mom and grandma where eintirely too "whatever" about it. But now I feel slightly bitter better.
:(
It would have been so hilarious. Last time we went, we were two people. This time we would have been four. Next time: 8 people. And 16 after that. ;)
And then I could go to Simon and say: "You won't remember me, but we made fun of there being five people in Germany who know who you are. I forced more people to watch your show, so now 8 people know who you are in Germany! Woohoo! Marry me!"
Okay, the marry me part I propably wouldn't have said out loud... Propably.
