Winter time

Nov 30, 2008 13:33

You know it's winter, because I've packed away the loud, repetetive noise I call music and got out the quiet and slow singer/songwriters. And the quiet and slow repetetive noise.

Where some time ago my playlist was pretty much Digitalism, DMX, Dizzee Rascal, Seryoga, Does it offend you yeah?, Buraka Som Sistema, Headstones and I don't know what else. It's now replaced by Lamb, Johnny Cash, The Smiths, Rufus Wainwright, Patrick Wolf and whatever else. Whatever else being every tv and movie soundtrack I possess.

Once I get out the Simon & Garfunkel you know it's Christmas! +g+

(But my position remains, Zero by Lamb is still the most perfect Ianto Jones song ever (regarding all things Lisa))

And now back to work! +is feeling productive today+
I am currently reading 4 books on Programming at the same time (ActionScript, JavaScript/AJAX, PHP, Object Oriented Programming ... as if anyone cares), I don't know if this is effective at all, but it's not like I have much of a choice. +g+
And I'm being OM NOM NOM KNOWLEDGE right now anyway. Might as well make use of this rare condition. ;)

music is love
