Enterprise what a Surprise

I got my car back from the May 27 accident. Just as I was typing that I remembered that the date is Cristina’s brother’s birthday. So random. In any event, so I picked up my car from the body shop yesterday on my lunch break yesterday and I left the rental from Enterprise at the body shop. I was there when they closed out the rental. So you would think done deal huh? WRONG. Word of advice, always close out a rental out at the rental agency in person. So I get a call today saying there was damage on the rental; a dent in the door and damage on the rear wheel well. Impossible. I was arguing with the guy from the Enterprise where I rented the car from, for like 15 minutes or so. He claims that the Edison office called and said there was damage on the car and apparently the renter, so me in this case, is still my responsibility even after the account is closed out… my responsibility until they inspect the car. WHAT THE HECK KIND OF BS IS THAT. AND WHY DIDN’T ANYONE INFORM ME BEFORE HAND. So my car was sitting on the side of the street overnight before Enterprise sent someone to pick it up. Anything could have happened. And how do I know that the person who picked up the car didn’t damage it. Did they even get the right car?

I told the New Brunswick Enterprise that I would drive to Edison and check the car out myself as I did not believe them. I also requested for the manager at the Edison Enterprise to send a picture of the damage to my email. He took my email but never did send any pictures. I left work a tad early to go to Edison. And as I was driving there, the New Brunswick office called and told me that “the body shop that they were going to take the car to owes them a favor and as the damage is minimal, they will fix the car for free” and since the car is being fixed for free I don’t have to pay. I don’t buy it. I think they made a mistake with the rental car and made an excuse so they do not look like an ass. Either way, I don’t have to pay so all is ay-okay.

Catching up on Covert Affairs. Love it.
