Helped along-- no, shoved along-- by the colossal, criminal, unforgivable stupidity of NBC!!!!!!
Yes, I'm still furious. No, I will not forgive them. Like, ever.
The last 'Studio 60'- waaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! I was lost from the title of the episode and then all the way through... Just lost. Brad Whitford-- so, so, so hot. I <3 you forever. You directed!!! Squeeee!!! Yay for you!!
Bush's new nickname!!! I love it!! Skippy McDumbass!!!! Yes!!!!! Ha! Aaron Sorkin, you're brilliant. Skippy McDumbass!! Yes, indeedy!!
Brad Whitford in the talk about the papers--- *dies* That is all.
Jordan! Baby! Adoption papers! *melts*
Matt/Harriet- *dances with joy* Squeeeeee!!!!!!!! 'I'm the one person. Always.' *sigh* That scene made me so happy, I almost cried. (Then again, i was already crying over Tom's brother.)
Ah, Jack, Jack, Jack... you really have grown on me. I love you almost as much as I love Tom in this episode.
Nate Corddry-- I <3 you too. And I cried for you.
The clock!! 'Nuff said.
'Don't take this the wrong way but I love you.' 'I took it to mean you're gay and you want me.' 'I love you too, mate.' 'Ah-kay.' *dies* Oh Aaron Sorkin, I love the way you write friendship. I love the way you write everything but I love the way you write friendship, especially between two straight guys.
I'm still not over the last West Wing episode (that I bawled my way through-- every time I've watched it) and now this...
In sum:
Damn you, NBC, to hell and back a million times over. Aaron Sorkin should be worshipped as a minor deity. Brad Whitford- it should be a crime to be as charming as you are.
In other news--
Finally saw a TV commercial for OotP. Words cannot express how much I do not care. Much.
Words cannot express how much I am absolutely DREADING (and yes, the caps are necessary) DH. I don't want it, I don't want it, I don't want it. I'll still end up reading it but I absolutely, flatly refuse to spend money on it and buy it. I'll wait and get it from the library. After being thoroughly spoiled.
Oh, Studio 60... Oh, West Wing, will I ever be done mourning you? I suppose it's sad that right now, the line going through my head is, "If you think I don't miss you every day..." and it's me saying that to 'West Wing'... Yes, it's sad.
*sighs* Waaahhhh. I can't believe it's over.
I sense a need for a West Wing marathon followed by a Studio 60 marathon.
