Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow……

It snowed 10 inches last week and has been in the low 20’s since, so it has just melted slightly then froze to the ground in big slabs of ice. Then again this morning a couple more inches on top of the ice. Enough all ready! Who pissed Mother Nature off! I wish it would just snow and snow and not this slightly melt and freeze scenario. I want it to really snow and stick around until after Tiffany leaves on January 3rd since she loves snow so much, it would be nice to have some snow to play in while she is here. I have the 4-wheel drive so we would still be able to get around no problem.
Well I finally finished my Christmas shopping and everything has been mailed off. So as far as I am concerned the Christmas Holiday is over already, what a relief! I did as I said and have not put up a single Christmas decoration; zero zip, naughta, absolutely nothing. I didn't even drag a single Christmas box out of storage. You know it really makes the holidays so much more relaxing. In previous years I would stress about when to start decorating and the time required to do it, and stress out again over taking it all down and packing it away and the time required to do that. I just saved myself at least 2 weekends of work. How great is that! No I am not being a Scrooge its just that since no one will be in my house prior to or on Christmas day but me, why bother! This is just one of the sacrifices you make when you travel for a living. I do have a few Christmas parties to attend, they should be fun and I really do have the Christmas spirit, its called spiked eggnog.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow……
Merry Christmas Everyone!
