Beauty. Is it truely as the saying goes "in the eyes of the beholder"? Many people including myself say that beauty is indeed in the eyes of the beholder. Different conclusions and reasoning for the answer to this question have been thought up and debated. But who are we to decide what beauty is or is not? No body. Yet everyday we take it upon ourselves to feel the need to put our two-cents in and make a decision as to what beauty encompasses. Beauty can take on so many various forms and meanings, some of which elude us and we are still unable to grasp or interpret. It's truely sad that now whenever a person says that another is a beautiful person on the inside, others will instead jest and poke fun at the person saying that he/she really is just out for the looks of the other, when in reality that may not be true. Sometimes it makes me feel somewhat ignorant that I am unable to see the beauty in someone, because there is beauty, in everyone. No matter what anyone says everyone is beautiful in one way or another. I am also guilty for judging beauty and saying that people have not been good looking when I really should not comment on the subject and instead should just hold my tongue and remember what I believe: "that beauty is within eye of the beholder". Whether we can see it or not, its always there.
