I don't understand how some people can be so selfish. I don't understand how someone's surroundings can change their personality so much. I don't understand how people can just pick and chose when they want to be there for you. I don't understand how people expect each other to just forgive and forget. I don't understand how someone can abandon me and then coming running back to me when everyone else has abandoned them. I don't understand how some people are only there for each other during an emergency. I don't understand how some people aren't there for each other in a time of emergency. I don't understand how an unpassionate "I'm sorry" fixes anything. I don't understand why people lie. I don't understand how people can claim that they care about you and yet make you feel so unimportant and like a waste of their time. I don't understand how someone can do all of this to me and yet I still love them so much and fight for the friendship.
